Our Goal: Certified Quality

Efficient processes, comprehensive reporting, low emissions – so that our customers can concentrate on their core business, we take care of the rest. Our customers and their partners expect their orders to be fulfilled flawlessly, regardless of whether they are carried out in the field of transportation, storage or value-added services.

In order to meet this requirement at all times, we have our company as well as our transportation and logistics services regularly certified. Thanks to our careful and thorough quality assurance and rigorous environmental management systems, we regularly succeed in meeting or even exceeding the expectations of our customers.
For us, the most important success factor is our employees.

Our drivers, recognisable by the typical blue and yellow company uniform, demonstrate the highest level of competence in terms of economical driving, load security and driving safety. This is ideally completed by comprehensive foreign language and strategy trainings for our employees in the area of commerce.

The result: the best service for the best customers.

This is evidenced by various certifications and audits:

Our promise for quality and environment

Our quality and environmental management systems are certified according to ISO 9001: 2008 and ISO 14001: 2004. Our compliance with all regulations is inspected by TÜV at regular intervals. For more than 20 years, we have been using external audits to prove that we fully meet the requirements of the ISO 9001 quality management standard. With the help of our quality management system (QMS), we are continuously working on further improving our services and their documentation. At Schuon, the QMS not only increases the transparency of operational processes, but also lowers the error rate – all with the aim of increasing our customers’ satisfaction.

Environmental Management System

Our environmental management system has the same reliability. We have been pursuing the goal of sustainably reducing our CO2 emissions for years and have developed our own concept for this purpose: our Green-Logistics strategy. In order to be able to put this into practice even better, we have had our environmental management system certified according to ISO 14001. We hereby guarantee compliance with all legal provisions and efficient working methods for our customers. The standard focuses not only on reducing emissions, waste and wastewater, but also on the consistent documentation of all processes. In addition, we also keep an eye on all relevant legal provisions so that we can react to them at short notice if necessary. All our operational processes have been optimized in an environmentally friendly manner.

SQAS Certification

The Safety and Quality Assessment System (SQAS) is a standard of the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC). It is used to evaluate the quality, safety and environmental compatibility of logistics providers.

An evaluation tool for logistics service providers in the hazardous goods sector was presented for the first time in 1994. In SQAS Road, only the quality of the actual transport of the dangerous goods was assessed. After the evaluation of the actual transport services, now, tank cleaning, hazardous goods storage (Packaged Warehouse), tank storage and distribution are also evaluated using SQAS.

Companies are evaluated by independent experts using a standardised questionnaire. The results of these reports are published on the CEFIC website. In this way, potential customers can find out more about the SQAS evaluation of their logistics providers.

This creates an additional, quality standard specific for the storage and transport of chemicals. Here, in contrast to the standards of the ISO 9000 ff series, the aspects of safety and environmental compatibility will be given a greater focus.

Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)

An Authorized Economic Operator is a certified company in the customs law of the European Union that enjoys certain privileges.

The status of Authorized Economic Operator enables companies, among other things, to obtain permits for customs procedures with economic significance and the right to other simplified procedures within the entire European Union in a simple procedure without extensive renewed verification. In this respect, the application of uniform standards within the entire European Union is of great importance when granting this status.

The granting of this status is linked to extensive requirements with regard to reliability, solvency, previous compliance with the relevant legal provisions and, if applicable, the fulfilment of certain security standards. Source: Wiki
