By using HVO, we can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90%. As part of a customer project running at our Kecskemét site, we have been operating with HVO as the first Hungarian transport company since the summer of 2020. HVO stands for hydrogenated vegetable oils which can be used as synthetic fuels. Thanks to the chemical treatment, they have the same properties as fossil diesel, but combustion in the engine can produce up to 90% less greenhouse gases which have a detrimental effect on the climate. Therefore, sustainable fuel contributes to improving our customers’ climate balance. To produce HVO, almost exclusively residues are used.
As this fuel is not available at public service stations, it can only be used if you have a connection with a filling station of your own. For this purpose, in order to fulfil your order, we also have mobile solutions on stand-by.
